‘Window on the Universe’: Musical Tribute for the 25th Anniversary of the Hubble Telescope [VIDEO]

The Hubble Telescope launched 25 years ago, on April 24, 1990, to be exact.

To celebrate, musician, remix artist, and video creator John D. Boswell created a wonderful music tribute for Hubble. Boswell, who goes by the name Melodysheep, uses images from the telescope for the footage. For lyrics, he splices together text from the interviews and narrations of astronauts, Stephen Hawking, and Neil deGrasse Tyson from the National Geographic’s special, “Hubble’s Cosmic Journey.”

With a little auto-tuning and his musical touch, he turns their words into an epic – and very fitting – song for the magnificent space images.

Happy birthday, Hubble!
