4 Jaw-Dropping Stunts Win 2015 NBA Dunk Contest for Minnesota Timberwolves’ Zach LaVine [VIDEO]
It’s time to bow down to the new king of slam dunks, the 2015 champion of the NBA dunk contest, Minnesota Timberwolves’ Zach LaVine. From his first dunk in the Barclays Center, it was obvious that LaVine was going to take home the gold.
The 19-year-old guard stunned the crowds, beginning with his first dunk when he bounced the ball to himself, brought the ball through his legs and finished with a reverse dunk. This incredible move earned him a perfect score, tens across the board for a total of 50 points.
LaVine followed this up with effortless second dunk similar to his first but with a behind-the-back move. Moving onto the finals, his two dunks for the championship involved teammate Andrew Wiggins holding the ball for LaVine’s through-the-legs dunk and a final through-the-legs finish off the horizontal part of the post right behind the backboard.
And remember, LaVine is still just a teenager.
