A Wild (Rodeo) Ride: This Tree Frog Rides a Beetle like a Bull [PHOTOS]

Humans enjoy rodeos, so why can’t other animals? Indonesia-based wildlife photographer Hendy Mp captured photographs of a tiny, colorful tree frog catching a rodeo ride on the back of a giant horned wood-boring beetle. The tree frog is raising its arm like bull-riders do and opening its mouth as if whooping. This type of frog, a threatened species called Reinwardt’s Flying Frog, can glide down trees using the webbed skin between its toes. But it’s got no problem sticking to the surface of this bug.
