The Mountain-Prairies, as Seen Through Photographs from US Fish & Wildlife Services
If you haven’t visited the mountain-prairie region of the United States, maybe these photographs will inspire you to do so.
The mountain-prairies spans eight states in the heart of the American West: Montana, Wyoming, Utah, Colorado, North Dakota, South Dakota, Nebraska and Kansas. The department of US Fish & Wildlife Services (FWS) works hard to conserve, protect and enhance this scenic environment. To help in this mission, FWS captures photographs of the area, uploading them to the US Fish & Wildlife Services Flickr page to raise awareness and showcase the region’s beauty.
The photographs display the peaceful and majestic life of the mountain-prairies, the diverse geography, flora, and fauna including owls, foxes, and moose. After seeing these charming and dreamy pictures, who wouldn’t want to travel to one (or all) of these eight states?
