‘House of Books’: the Splendor of Libraries Around the World [PHOTOS]

As we spend more and more time dealing with technology, it’s nice to be reminded of less advanced, more intimate times, when you would cozy up to a paperback or hardback book. New York-based, French photographer Franck Bohbot, who appreciates the simple pleasures of books, reminds us of the glory days by capturing stunning photographs of elaborately and beautifully designed libraries around the world.

Bohbot has traveled to Paris, Rome, Boston and beyond to document these literary homes and calls the series just that, “House of Books.” These buildings have such splendor, it makes it easy for Bohbot to use his skills to highlight their elegance and grandeur.
