Real-Life Drawing: Illustrations that Incorporate Actual Popcorn, Scissors, Nuts, and More

Tired of drawing the same conventional, two-dimensional drawings? Maybe it’s time to spice up your illustrations by incorporating some 3D objects, like illustrator and artist Victor Nunes. He gets his 2D doodles to jump off the page by adding popcorn, nuts, scissors, wrappers, crackers, rubber bands, pen caps and more.

It’s fun to see how creative Nunes can be with a single object, using it in various ways. For example, Nunes transforms a pretzel into a wheel or hair, and apricots into bird beaks and bunny ears.

Below you’ll find the drawings that struck us as the most playful and creative. Believe it or not, there were thousands to choose from. Check out all of Nunes’s work on his Facebook page!
