Frozen in Time: Chilly Temperatures in Argentina Turn a Waterfall into an Icy Column [PHOTOS]
Have you ever seen as astonishing a sight as a frozen waterfall? Last year, Argentina-based photographer Guillermo Palavecino was lucky enough to capture these astounding photographs of a frozen waterfall near Bariloche, Patagonia.
Normally, the water falls 60 feet, but with freezing temperatures the falls became a column of ice surrounded by frosted rocks. Although these awesome images were taken a year ago, what better time to feature them than in the countdown to the official start of winter?
