Some Dogs Are All Fur: ‘Dry Dog Wet Dog’ Photo Series Juxtaposes Canines Before and After Bath Time

Your dog might not look much different when he’s dry versus wet. But there are plenty of dogs, like Afghan hounds and English sheepdogs, that look drastically different and the difference can be as funny as it is surprising.

After she noticed that both the looks and personalities of her dogs changed after their baths, award-winning animal photographer Serenah Hodson was inspired to do a photoshoot with multiple dog breeds. The project led to a playful series called “Dry Dog Wet Dog”.

On her Facebook page, Hodson writes:

We get such great texture on the dog when the hair is wet. Some dogs look completely different when wet and this was the joy I wanted to capture.

As you can see in the series, some of the dogs are just as happy after they become wet as before. Others, however, look quite unhappy and ashamed. (Of course, they are all still adorable!)
